Fit Classes

Our adult “Fit” classes are designed to train your body the way a dancer would, using principles of Latin dance, ballet, jazz, hip hop, boxing, Pilates and yoga to make you long, lean and strong...not to mention, these classes are a TON of fun. With high energy music, you’ll love and feel the burn during every minute of it! Working out with others is proven to yield 50% better results. Feel the support of your peers as you kick it into high gear. Shed those extra pounds and have a blast all in the privacy and comfort of our studio.

All adult classes at Fit to Dance Studio are appropriate for ALL LEVELS. Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, our experienced instructors will be help you get the most out of each and every class.

FIT BARRE

Our FitBarre class incorporates basic ballet technique with total body toning exercises to kick your booty into shape! We will be using center and barre ballet exercises to emphasize technique and include core stability. Unlike traditional workouts, Barre pushes the body to its threshold while fighting to maintain proper alignment and freeing the joints from additional stress. Barre is a challenging, results oriented, core based workout set to great music and will have you looking and feeling stronger while avoiding injury. Our Fit Barre class will make you long, lean and strong. It’s the best toning workout for your whole body!
 

FIT BOXING

The FitBoxing class encompasses kickboxing moves using interval training throughout the workout. This class is a high energy; high impact blend of kciks and punches set to upbeat music. Whether you are a new kickboxer or one who likes the pure simplicity of straightforward kicks and punches, this class will make you sweat. Students can use weighted gloves to get even faster results in this amazing class. Using gloves and mitts, punches and kicks are focused on. This class will have you kicking and punching your stress away!
 

FIT CAMP

What's the best way to build lean muscle, burn fat, increase balance, endurance and flexibility? Fit Camp! Our High Intensity Interval Training workouts are designed for all fitness levels and abilities. This class encompasses high cardio intervals, including easy-to-follow dance and boxing moves, coupled with low impact core barre training. This workout uses fun circuits that target core strength and give an all over full body toning experience. Sculpted arms, legs, abs, and a lifted booty are just a few of the results you can expect to see. Fit Camp a fun and effective way to achieve your fitness goals.

 
FIT DANCE

Our FIT Dance class is a beginner adult dance class which will explore a range of dance styles for fitness and fun. Each class will open with a traditional ballet barre, followed by across the floor combinations and choreography in that week's chosen style. Whether you have never taken a dance class before, you used to dance and want to get back into it, or you are a professional and want some extra practice...our non judgemental, fun supportive environment is for you!

 
FIT MOM

Our FIT Mom class combines strength and vitality in this morning workout for moms. Moms of all fitness levels are welcome from beginners to advanced. Your children of all ages will quickly become your little workout buddy by joining you for fitness fun in this class. Experience a workout that will challenge your aerobic and core strength with weights, polymeric exercises, and conditioning circuits. Moms, this is your chance to get your workout in and bring the kids along!

 
FIT YOGA

This Vinyasa style yoga class is designed to stretch, strengthen and tone your entire body! No two classes will be exactly the same but will always follow the same general structure; you'll flow through a warm up, Sun Salutations and a series of sequences including standing and seated/lying poses that may also include balance and inversion poses. Vinyasa yoga effortlessly links your movements with your breath, creating a great workout that leaves you feeling powerful with a peaceful state of mind. Every class will end in savasana, a resting period, to allow your body and mind to feel fully relaxed, rejuvenated and stress free!
 

FIT ZUMBA

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That's exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It's an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that's moving millions of people toward joy and health. A mixture of body-sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps, the routines utilize the principles of aerobic interval and resistance training. A combination of fast and slow rhythms tone and sculpt the body, maximizing caloric output, fat burning and total body toning.
