Dance Classes

INTRODUCTORY CLASSES

Mini & ME
Ages 18 months - 2 years

With Mommy, Daddy, or Caregiver close by, children will learn the basics of dance, while engaging in hands-on movement activities essential to proper development and social skills. Our Mommy & Me toddler dance program, for boys and girls ages 1½ to 2½, lets students take a movement and music class with an adult! This 45 minute class focuses on dance movement, hand-eye coordination, stretching, counting, rhythm and other basic dance techniques that are great for early child development, building self esteem and self confidence.

TINY WINGS
Ages 2 & 3

An introduction to the foundations of dance for boys and girls who are 2 or 3 years old. They will have a lot of fun incorporating props, games and imaginary movement. Young children are full of energy and curiosity. This program channels their energy and improves concentration. These classes are 45 minutes long, once a week. Tiny Wings will require ballet shoes, which can be purchased in-studio at our Butterfly Boutique.

TINY TUMBLERS
Ages 2 & 4

Tiny Tumblers is a beginner class for boys and girls who are 2-4 years old. In Tiny Tumblers, our coaches stretch little minds as well as little bodies. Classes are always high energy - just like our kids! The students experience a kaleidoscope of bouncing, rolling, stretching, strength building, and body awareness activities. All the while, they're developing their listening and concentration skills and discovering the most important concept we teach here: that learning is fun! The atmosphere here is always relaxed, fun and supportive with teachers eager to give praise and positive rewards like stickers, stamps, and smiles! These classes are 45 minutes long, and held once a week.

COMBINATION DANCE CLASSES

Our goal is to make sure we are building the love of dance in each child; nurturing their natural creativity in a fun and loving atmosphere. In an effort to provide a solid foundation from which our young dancers may grow, we offer core combination classes at each age level. While each one of our combination classes teaches multiple forms of dance, we keep the class material age appropriate for each level. Each of these classes are one hour long and provide instruction in both ballet and tap each week. All classes are co-ed. Black, matte tap shoes and pink canvas ballet shoes are required. All shoes and apparel can be ordered/purchased in-studio in the Butterfly Boutique.

INDIVIDUAL DANCE CLASSES

Our individual classes are, in general, for children ages 4 and up (some restrictions apply). These weekly, hour long classes focus on only one form of dance. Whenever possible, we divide our individual classes by skill level as opposed to age range. All classes are co-ed except Boys Only Hip Hop. All required apparel and footwear is available for purchase/order in-studio at the Butterfly Boutique.
